About me...

I was born in Barcelona and my mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan. I can speak English too since I'm currently living in UK.

I have a diploma course as a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language from La Tía Tula Colegio de Español, a certificate course in Early childhood Education from Growrie Victoria (Australia) and a certificate course in How to teach Spanish to children attending Primary School from Instituto Cervantes and Difusión, as also a specialisation as Financial Controller from the University of Alcalá de Henares and an ABA from the EAE Business School from Barcelona.

After several years working as office manager and financial, I started teaching Spanish because some English friends and colleagues asked me help to study my native language and then I discovered that was my actual vocation. I've four years experience teaching general and business Spanish, taking advantage of my experience from the business side.

I'm volunteering in my son’s preschool and I'm teaching Spanish in several nurseries and as a private tutor. With toddlers and preschoolers, I teach trough stories, songs, games and crafts activities in a fun way. With young and teenagers, I work the Spanish language following a structured program to help them to strengthen the Spanish that they’re learning at school, improving their understanding and their confidence and integrate Spanish in other subjects as maths and literacy.

I love spend time discovering new places with my family, ballet, photography and the volcanoes. I never stop studying and recycling either. My new challenge is to learn Italian because I love the Tuscany region.
